Michael Sweet is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer, best known as the co-founder and frontman of the Christian metal band Stryper. Born in Orange County, California, Sweet is widely regarded as one of the hardest-working and most versatile musicians in the business, with a career spanning hard rock, heavy metal, and worship music.

In addition to helming Stryper through multi-platinum successes like To Hell with the Devil, Sweet has established a thriving solo career. His solo albums, such as Truth and Ten, frequently appear on the Billboard charts. His versatility led to a stint as co-lead singer and guitarist for the legendary rock band BOSTON, and he has formed successful collaborations such as Sweet & Lynch (with George Lynch) and Sunbomb (with Tracii Guns).
