Peter Carlsohn's The Rise is the solo venture of Peter Carlsohn, a prominent figure in the Christian rock scene and the longtime bassist for the legendary Swedish band Jerusalem since 1980.

After decades of touring and recording with bands like XT and Rune Edvardsen & Red Band, Carlsohn launched this project in 2020 to explore his own musical vision. The band's sound is rooted in Melodic Hard Rock, featuring seasoned musicians such as Michael Ulvsgärd (Jerusalem), Stephen Carlson, and Lars Carlsohn.

The debut album, "Out of the Blue", features top-tier production with mixing by Tobias Lindell (Europe, H.E.A.T) and mastering by Thomas ”Plec” Johansson. It stands as a testament to Carlsohn’s legacy, combining solid rock musicianship with faith-driven messages.
