7 Days (often stylized as 7days) is a prominent melodic metal project, conceived by bandleader, guitarist, and composer Markus Sigfridsson.

History

7 Days started out as a solo project in 2004. Markus Sigfridsson found that he had accumulated a significant amount of written songs that were just laying around and did not quite fit into the musical style of his other main bands, Harmony and Darkwater. To bring this specific musical vision to life and deliver melodic metal in the finest way, Sigfridsson gathered an impressive roster of highly experienced guest musicians from the European metal scene.
