About

Desertor - The Definitive Evolution of Brazilian Crossover

With a solid trajectory spanning decades, Desertor has established itself as a pillar of heavy music in Paraná, Brazil. Combining the urgency of Hardcore with the precision of Thrash Metal, the band is currently at the peak of its technical cohesion, ready to present its most powerful and modern incarnation to the market.

A Trajectory of Sonic Evolution

Desertor's identity was forged on the road and in the studio, evolving consistently with each release:

The Roots (The Beginning): It all started with the impact of the "Aborto Não" record. Raw and visceral, this work established Desertor in the underground scene, delivering hard-hitting lyrics about social issues and an aggressive sound that conquered the "old school" fanbase.

The Maturation (2005): The discography gained substance and technique with the release of the acclaimed album "Cadeira de Rodas" (2005). In this work, the band expanded its musical boundaries, presenting more complex compositions and a production that raised the bar for the national Crossover scene. It was the moment when fury met technique, proving the musicians' versatility.

The Current Moment: Old School with a Modern Soul

Today, Desertor is the sum of these experiences. The band does not live on nostalgia but uses its legacy as a foundation to innovate.

The current sound maintains the classic DNA that defined them — fast riffs and harsh vocals — but delivers a modern execution. The tone, production, and live performance have reached a level of professional excellence, fully prepared for the demands of the current music market and major festivals.

Line-Up

The stability and chemistry of the current formation are the project's key assets:

Angelo Torquetto – Vocals

Pipe Bastos – Guitar

Natan Alves – Bass

Wellington Torquetto – Drums
