About the Band
Fruto SagradoFounded in 1988 in Niterói, Fruto Sagrado is a landmark of Brazilian Christian rock. Known for lyrics addressing social issues, politics, and existentialism, the band peaked between the 1990s and mid-2000s. The group underwent several lineup changes, with Marcão being the longest-standing original member. After leaving the MK Music label and facing internal crises, the band moved into an independent phase, releasing the "20 Anos" project with new vocalist Vanjor.
